What does ALCA 500 ALA 100 do?
Acetyl-L-Carnitine Arginate (ALCA) and Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) support the mitochondrial production of energy.* ALCA is a novel combination of the amino acids Acetyl-L-Carnitine and L-Arginine. Acetyl-L-Carnitine is found in high concentrations in human brain, nerve, heart, liver and sperm cells, where it participates in metabolizing fatty acids into energy by the mitochondria.*
Alpha Lipoic Acid is a water and lipid soluble antioxidant required by the mitochondrial matrix pyruvate dehydrogenase complex, which is the starting point of the Krebs or TCA (energy) cycle.*

Suggested Usage
